Our favorite Charity is Suzie's Friends Animal Shelter. It was built and is owned and operated by me, John Allison and my wife Shelley Allison.

This 'state of the art' shelter is, by all accounts, the finest, most modern shelter in the Sotheast and is made possible through the profits from YOUR purchases.

Our annual budget to operate the shelter is over $300,000.00 and we only receive approximately $1,500.00 in annual donations.

Another thing that we are both proud and thankfull for are our wonderful employee. Since we do not have any volunteers these great people start their day cleaning up, emptying litter pans, feeding the dogs and pressure washing the entire kennel facility BEFORE the start their day at EnviroSpec. So, out of every 8 hour work day approximately 3 hours from each employee are spent with our animals which - today - amout to over 100 each.

Weekends my wife & I spend at PetsMart trying to find homes for our little buddies. That generally results in approximately 18 people-hours to adopt one animal. It would be less but we inspect every home of every potential adopter. We will not adopt to anyone who will give our animals less that what we give them at the shelter.

If you want to see how nice they have it take a look at this Video. It is my first stab at this so don't laugh.

Merry Christmas and thank you for all you do for Suzie's Friends through you purchases from EnviroSpec.

I have been involved with Best Friends for about 7 years. They are a very large animal rescue foundation based out of kanab Utah.

Yesterday went on a Motorcycle ride that we go on each year from a local motorcycle club to the Shriners Childrens Hospital to give toys that were donated. Going in there to see those kids makes you realize that you don't really have any problems at all.

The Salvation Army. When a buddy and I drove a van out to California when I was 18, We ended up in Santa Barbara and they let us park the van and live out of it in the parking lot and they were very nice to us and we were living o a shoestring. They would invite us in and let us shower, have us come in for dinners etc until we both got jobs and an apartment. They also helped my dad when he was younger. I always give money and have given thousands in clothes, furniture to the Salvy stores.

St Judes Hospital I give every year also

I like the Salvation Army. One of the best run charitable orgs out there. Very little overhead and almost every dollar donated goes to those in need.

We don't donate to animal shelters but we have four rescue dogs. Picked three up at Petsmart and got one from a county shelter.

My wife and I also sponsor a child in Brazil through Compassion International.

I have my own dog rescue at my house. Five wienner dog, three pugs two shepards a mut and autralian shepard.

I donate each year to the Salvation Army as they do a lot of good.

I also donate to Shriner's as they do a lot for children and burn victims. It is nice help out those that do so much for the children.

I've always helped out with Shriners. They treated my daughter when I was going through some hard times and down on my luck. I'll never forget that.

I want to start a pressure washing for kids

That sounds like a great idea Ron!

Pressure Washing for Kids. That really has a great sound to it.

Would it be to donate to the Shriners or who?

The Shriners really do a lot of good for the children, I would like to see it go there but there are a lot of good causes.
