wax in fleet wash

Hey guys, I have a dump truck fleet I do twice a month and was wondering if I added wax to my fleet wash, would it cut down my wash time for the next cleaning, thanx

Spray wax as a second step is the only way to go. All the spray waxes are "sacrificial", meaning they're designed to wash off to keep from building up and yellowing. What eats the wax off? The soap. Now why would you put wax in a liquid that is supposed to remove it? I never understood putting spray wax in a house wash mix for that very reason.

we currently use a soap with wax in it. It helps a little but I am wanting to switch to a good soap and then a good wax as a last step. I have yet to try any of the stand alone waxes though.

I have not tried a soap that has a wax in it but Russ's comment is a good one about having the wax in the soap.

When I was using Rowlett's house wash chems, you mixed the wax in with the soap and it did a good job cleaning and the windows did rinse good.

I have not looked for a wax to do the same thing but would add it for house washing as a second step after the cleaning is done.

I guess it really depends on the soap, maybe his was designed to work with the wax?
