Tree Sap Dots

Hi, all, this is a great site! I own a window tinting/window cleaning business, and a customer asked if I would clean their vinyl siding...

I'm new to pressure washing, but wondered if anyone has seen this problem: all over the north side of the house are tiny dark brown dots that look like tree sap or something. Nothing I tried would remove these dots! Does anyone know what they are and how to remove them?

Most likely what you have encountered is call Artillery fungus.There is no know way of cleaning it off of siding,although, you can minimize the dark color.Check out this link it may be of some help to you.

WOW! That's incredible! I think that's what it is... Thanks a bunch, Squirtgun, for the info. Now I know what to tell people. The wall that this stuff is on has a bunch of mulch right next to it.
