I just gave an estimate yesterday to do a house, deck and a very steep roof. Just to let you know I have done several single story roofs in the past that I don't mind at all walking. The house & deck dont scare me at all it is the roof that does. All 4 corners of the roof come to a point which is probobly a 12:12 pitch not very walkable plus it is two-stories up. Does anyone have any idea on how to attempt this kind of job I have a pitch witch and have Glen & Steve's cleaning compounds in my arsenal. The other thing is how does everyone go about tieing themself off if there is no ridge to drape the rope over and maybe have tied to the ground or have a helper holding on. I no a lot of people use there x-jet & M-5 to do a lot of roofs but is it possible to use it to apply the soap and rinse from a ladder because i am not about getting up on this roof for $300.00 and wind up breaking bones when I fall. Thanks,
