I use so many chemicals ... But there are a few applications where certian things work best.. Here we go.
For really heavy grease ( clumped inside filters) soak them in a sink full of hot water and Red Devil Lye.. ( just like caustic but it has a clinging type of effect that pure caustic does not.
Use purple degreaser and dawn on burnt on grease in the duct work... ( I don't know it just works..)
Caustic bead and hot water on everything else, including concrete.
On stainless steel hood I use spray car wax and hot water after cleaning then rinse with hot water ... no polishing or wiping required....
Chinese and Fish restaurants .. Buy a soak tank and soak the filters in Red Devil Lye and Dawn for 20 or 30 minutes... Watch the goo come off..
I have found also that 3500 psi @4gpm at 210 degrees works better than the litle elec machines....
I look at it this way , either the stuff comes real clean or you can blow it to pieces trying to clean it .. In this case you get new hood and filter sales...
