Rust removal on Concrete and Vinyl

Hello all, Im a neb to the site!! Seems like a bunch of knowledgable guys here who are always willing to help!!

Anyways what do you guy reccomend to remove rust from concrete and the side of a vinyl house???
Ive tried a chemical called Magica for the vinyl, it worked great, but is a bit pricy!!! And on the concrete Ive use Concrete rust remover from the rust store, both items work great, but I would love to save some money on chemicals if someone can point me in the right direction.

Oxalic acid should work for both.
 
Ok thanks!!! What is the best ratio to start at? I do realize that it is a trial and error for different jobs, but where should I start??

I found some saying 56oz to 5 gallons of water is that a solid proven ratio, or do you guys use stronger weaker ratios for different jobs??

i would say try that ratio then go from there
