QR codes

Being someone who uses multiple electronics every day and owns a Iphone I can honestly say I've never scanned one of them. I think with the lack of people that would actually use them its wasted real estate of advertising space on whatever it may be.

Hit the nail on the head.

booooyah.....

I had two of them for a year for two of my web sites, it was $49.00 each a year. They were on my truck and yard signs. Never got a call from them so I dropped them, but that doesn't mean they don't work just didn't for me.

Cheers guys thanks for that. Was just thinking out loud. Don't honestly see them as being much use myself but had to ask the dumb question. Hell you all could of had them and they were paying off big time.!!!

Anyone using QR codes in their advertising?

I do. They make sure people get to the right page. I'm even going to add a coupon for a spring promotion. Best of all, they're free!

It all works together. Twitter, Facebook, Google+, direct mail, fliers, vehicle wraps, hats, glasses, shirt embroidery, heck even friggin' lunch boxes could work!

Choosing not to use a marketing avenue could potentially lose a customer.
