Pressure Switch

Have a Delavan pump with a bad pressure switch. Is there a replacement for it? I did take it back to the place I bought it from and was told a loose connection. Hooking it back up today ran for 30 sec. and quit. After testing all electrical I took the switch and with my Fluke meter found the switch not closeing. ran stait power to the pump it works fine. Or do they make a pressure switch that I could put in line and then wire the switch? Trying to save this brand new pump (1 month old). Thanks.

You could put a Heavy duty Square D switch in the output line with it and never have that problem again.
The kind they use on an Air compressor.SquareD Pressure Switch.jpg

John, could you make a diagram on how you would wire up one of those switches for the 12 volt pumps?
Thanks.

Thanks John.

Put a TEE on the output Plumbing and install the switch in line with the output hose.
