Paint Run Off?

We maintain a local bank on a regular basis. Has a brown painted metal roof that has started leaving stains on the beige painted walls, kind of like a run off. We have tried chlorine/detergent mix, degreaser and hot water with no luck. What would help get this off without damaging the underlying paint? Thanks.

Dark paint oxidation leaving streaks on a lighter painted wall?
Sounds like your going to need paint thinner and a mop headed brush,maybe some GOOF OFF from home depot.
I might start out with a citric based cleaner like CITRA-CLEAN or LIMONLENE but be carefull how strong you mix it.
The stain will keep returning as rain /sun keep eating up the paint on the roof.
Dark roof and light walls sounds like the cooling bills are going to be high.

This is a crap sandwich and you just ran out of bread. but don't feel that bad because this might make you some money. any type of paint removal requires some harsh chemicals, the best you can hope for is if you remove the brown paint and the light color comes with it you can charge the bank to repaint that certain area. BUT when you talk to the person in charge tell them right from the start that this may peel the light color paint and you can't be held responsible, but you'll be more than happy to repaint that certain area on a time and material basis... If this doesent sound good try oxliac acid it should do the job.
