There are others aspects to the air filtration business such as preparing units for roofing work with charcoal filters.

This reduces or eliminates the tenant complaints about the smells and fumes associated with re-roofing jobs on office buildings.

Hey Tony, just a quick thought. Since you guys specialize in air filters and coils, are you al members of NADCA. If not it is something I would highly recommend.
 
Stephen, even though we sub all our duct cleaning out I have looked into it. I can't find the benefit other than logo rental. And $800 is a lot to pay for a sticker. :)

In 6 years only one person has asked me if we were members of any org and that was a customer sent to shop our prices by a competitor. I looked hard at NAFA too, but couldn't find any benefit.

I will probably join ASHRAE this year though. They have some benefits in the networking department that none of the other orgs seem to recognize as a benefit.

I definitely know how you feel with the membership costs. I can see where you guys are coming from with not joining right now, but I forsee within the next ten or so years you may have to join some sort of org to stay with the current codes and such. If you ever need any advice on the duct cleaning side feel free to contact me.

Wow, is anybody reading this? I know Stephen meant it in a nice way, but what does this say about the entire ORG system and it's impediment to free enterprise when the government is used as tool, then the government turned around and treats you like a tool.

I hope you guys are reading this.
