No More Trips to the Bank!!!!

I am guessing that you just scan the check and it is deposited into your account?

Just deposited my first check with it today! Love it. Free from Chase only $25 a month but I save $100 in fuel driving back and forth from the bank every couple days... I had the phone app but it only allows you to deposit up to 2K a day. Plus you get to keep the check after you deposit it. For bragging rights...

It's a great service for sure. Chase should allow you to scan business from your phone.

Scanner is well worth the money. Time is more than gas. Good point on saving gas, time for me is the saving.

Did you use chase merchant, curious

They always give me suckers and dog bones to take home. I am a charter member of my bank. I went in a few years ago with my oldest son. They keep a fish bowl full of quarters on the counter. If they don't call you by your first name then you get to take a quarter. My son, who was 5 at the time, asked for his quarter when she didn't know his name. He got the quarter, told her his name and has never reached into the bown again.

I don't go thru the self check out lane at the store. I want some one to take my money and tell me thanks for my business. Same thing with a bank. I want my teller to ask how my kids are doing, make my deposit and ask if there is anything else she can do for me.

Yeah it's nice, I give my tellers things back. They always give me the suckers. Even if the kids are not with me. Never got a dog biscuit , they got them. Usually get those at starbucks. Funny story my Gm ate some dog jerky from the bank once. My older kids still won't shut up about it. He said it was good.

I rarely step a foot in the bank. We've had that check reader for at least two years now. No limit.

They dont charge us a dime for it either.

Before that they sent a runner to pick up deposits three days a week. Started that in 2003.

I'm really happy with our bank. We were their first acct they opened over ten years ago.

That's cool, banks that care.

I wonder if these smaller ones are paying attention to our needs. Chase your just a number.

That's right at Chase you are a number. The small local banks are a lot more personable with you. That's how ours is to.
My wife just tallies up the checks and deposits them once a week on her way out to run errands. Never complains about doing it or gas or time.....I wonder why? Lol
Neat gadget for sure.

William you live in Mayberry? I may want to move there

Siler City, NC(from which Mayberry was derived) is an hour west of me. I don't give my order to the waitress at the diner where I eat breakfast every morning, I don't tell my barber how to cut my hair- they know what I want already. I have a half dozen stops each week where I stop by and sit on the porch to chat with some old gentlemen and listen to their stories. One guy is in his late 90's. I bring him a snack pack from KFC and a pepsi in a glass bottle every Monday when I am in town. He tells great stories and I enjoy keeping him company. I will take the small town life over the city any day. I lived in Tucson back in the early 70's. Dad was stationed out of Davis Monthan for a little while while on loan from the Army training Air Force MP's in Guam. My sister was born at Davis.

Hey William, do you have your mortgage through them as well? I'm looking at houses for Spring 2012, all the large banks have their loans buttoned up tight for a young self employed guy like me.

After you scan the checks and the deposit is made, what do you do with the checks?

Send them to the bank? Tear them up?

I agree with the just a number thing! That's why I cant stand going in there anymore... The history of banking is crazy! They are legally allowed to loan up to 9 times more money then they even have to back it... Definitely a corrupt institution. Started with money being backed with gold or silver and now it just says Federal Reserve Note. Its like picking between the evils... I just happened to pick JPM because at the time I thought it was more convenient since there is a Chase every half mile in Phoenix.

I am fortunate enough to not pay a mortage. The sign on the front door says they are making loans though. Awesome bank. Stop by and tell then I sent you.
