never again - again!

A long time ago I swore off all Oriental jobs. Reasons are difficulty, increased time and materials, hard-to-please, and constant price negotiation. I just fell off the wagon for one job, and was painfully reminded why I decline them. This guy actually wanted to negotiate price AFTER I completed job! An associate suggested I ask if he knows karate - if he answers "no" then deck him. Since I am afflicted with avarice, greed, and cupidity I would still accept them if the price were right. If others call me for service I am contemplating using my usual formula to develop premium, and then simply doubling it. Anyone else do this?

I refuse to deal with oriental restaurants. I got tired of hearing "price too high, this guy do for $175", and "It not need clean more than 6 mo, we not busy here". I thought about doing the double price deal, but decided that even double price doesn't cover the time spent picking grease bugers out of your hair.

I haven't ever had any oriental restaurant try not to pay, maybe I gave up on them too soon. :D

We still do them but for a price! Last one was around $2,000 for one days work (3 guys). I got paid within a week.

I also do them Dave, I think it may the area. Never had a problem with them not paying, Always cash. Big Dollars for my operation. I take it as a sharpening tool for myself.

I may have about five of them, which rolls around every three months. My job cost was around 28%, on my largest wok cooking.

We do 15 to 20, some on a 1 month frequency. I love them cause they pay fast, Steve hates them cause he's got to clean them. But they are incredibly loyal. The crews like 'em cause they tip.

I don't do exhaust cleaning, but I ran into the SAME problems with Middle Eastern gas stations and party stores here in the Detroit area. NO THANKS!

It's interesting to me that you say "our greatest first lady", then mention Nancy, whereas you should probably be quoting Barbara while referring to "our greatest first lady". :D
