Just giving back to the community that has given so much to me...

When and if you lock in a bid..

Follow up between 10-15 days (after payment) and ask the person who hired you on why it is they chose you over the competition.

Not only will it give you an excuse to stay "top-of-mind", but you'll always know what your strong points are and your weak points in your marketing/sales plan. This will keep you one step closer for the next bids you send out.

And if you don't get the bid.... Ask why not? Get as much information as you possibly can. You'd be surprised sometimes what people say when they choose other companies, and for what reasons.

Sounds like a noobie thing, but a lot people forget to do this... and you can never go wrong with learning more about what makes your business successful... or not successful.
