man dies using pressure washer

cut suit

ive worked with that company before in b.cand what there not saying is he didnt wear his kevlar cut-suit wich is an industry standard here in canada ,some companys even make u wear a turtle shell!(looks like a baseball -catchers or umpires attire)and yes even a metatarcel on the foot not on the pedal!!

Here, all the High pressure systems that I have seen in the oil industry 20,000psi to 40,000psi were rig mounted and operated with hydraulics and the operator is in a chair away from where the work was done.

I bet if that hose came out of the pipe and just hit you it would cause serious damage let alone cut you open.

That is really sad about the guy.

hey chris i saw a guy get injected thro both legs with a flex lance@10 k ( we were cleaning heat exchanger tubes). preety sure amputation was involved.

I did some of this type of work with the 20k blasters. Saw a guy we were working with almost loose an arm from the same thing. We were at a paper mill jetting a pipe and it came back out. Nasty stuff. Def need to be on the ball there when doing that
