Lights

I would like to put some flood lights on my trailer and need some advice. I was planning on putting 2- 12 volt lights on it, for working after dark, and hook them up to the battery of my pressure washer. I am not sure if my battery will handle it and keep a charge when it is running. Has anyone put lights on their trailer like this or do you hook them up to your truck electrical system? I have not bought anything yet.

Thanks for any advice

Lenny,
I have two 500 watt halogen floods on each side. Only run one side at a time though. They are run by the generator on my skid unit. I have heard that this generator is not meant to run anything even though it has plugs, but I have not had a problem.
If I learn different, I will run them off my other generator that I have for reclaim.

We run 3-2 bulb fluorescents in the back of our White truck. One on the roof and two on the walls powered by the 2000-watt generator on our Hotsy 5800 series. They only draw about 240 watts total and they really light up the back of our truck!

Tony,

Two generators, main one 10,000 watt and back up is 4000 watt.

Now before you ask since I am reading your mind the big one is used to power the reclaim system and vacuboom.

I run everything off it when using the reclaim vs. just the lights, then I use the smaller one and I also use it for the Shur-Flo pump.

I have two 500 watt lights built into the right side of my trailer. They are powered by a 7500 watt generator that will run my air compressor , a Titan 440 airless sprayer, a Shurflo pump tor truck washing and a Deckhand when I need, also the two double 8' lights inside.
