I had thought of buying one of those before I purchased my 60' Bucket Truck.
Those are typically from 30'-45' and you can only boom out to the side like 20' at the most.
If you are almost up against the house, you can reach only maybe 20' out from that point in an arc so you would have to move it several times to only do the front part of a house, not even 1/2 of most of the homes here.
How are you going to do the back part, most of those tow-behinds will not go through the gates of most houses here.
That and many more reasons are why I purchased a 60' Bucket Truck.
I can boom out 50' from where the back of the truck is and with the Bandit, I can reach most of the larger houses from the front. One large slate house I had to drive to the back of the house which was on a golf course so I stayed in the rough and with the fence around 20' from the edge of the house, I still had enough extension on the truck to get the job done.
This Bucket Truck will allow the boom to go straight out to the sides and all around, most of them will to up and out some to the sides. You have to look for that special feature, it is only on maybe 10% of the Bucket Trucks out there.
I have done a couple buildings, many roofs, and let my dad and brother use it for tree trimming and taking down trees. It sure makes life better around here with it's many uses.
