OK folks lets talk nominations. As many know there has been one name out there as far as President. Being completely neutral in this, I would like to get some feedback on how Members feel about this person running and possibly being President of the UAMCC.

I would also like to see Members step forward with suggestions or other recommendations on all open Director Chairs.

Not that it matters but I have also thought of throwing my name into the ring if I see there is a Real effort by our Members to move our Org. forward.

So lets talk Nominations!!!!! What Say You!!!
 
Not a member...yet. but am all for that one guy being President and you Guy MUST be on the board.

Now thats the right way to look at that..serving the members and the thanks you get....priceless. When I served years ago a guy like Doug who's passionate would be high on my list to call. It's a commitment but when it works and your there where those decisions were made... Is the best.
 
Hey Guy, here's a question for you. Let's say (hypothetically) I decide to run for a BOD spot. Is there a turn around time from the time that I join to be eligible to be nominated, accpet the nomination and run? In other words, if a person joins today, can they run tomorrow. I was planning to call John Orr or Michael T and ask them this, but since your heading up the nomination effort, I thought I would just ask you first.

Hi Allison- I was told that if they get enough people to run they'll have there elections and winners by Dec. 31st of this year and any current member in good standing can vote but they have to update there membership by paying there membership fees by or before that date or there vote won't count. As for the dates of when the nominees are going to be announced and when the ballots are going out GUY will let us know.
