Thanks guys, I just pitched a mexican restaurant for filter service and they are not happy with their hood guys.

It is a small restaurant probably 1500 square feet total and they pay $270 per quarter. The price is ok with them, they are not satisfied with the quality. Is it because it is too cheap?

Mexican, $270.00 per quarter? Way less than I charge!

That sounds about right for an area like Las Vegas. Lots of competition there, and it may seem low, but when you are in such a concentrated area with so many competitors, you have to keep your pricing fair or you will not grow.

Sounds like in LV you would just grow for the sake of growing. No money made at $270 on a Mexican joint, unless you cleaning it by yourself. Thos LV cleaners should move farther North.....Montana or something, not much competition there, an you could probbly get what the job is worth instead of competing with some lowballers.

Is there anyone here on this board or the other main boards that cleans hoods in Las Vegas?

How can you search members by location?

Did you ever Find anyone in Las Vegas?

Every Hood cleaner has their minimum that they can do work for. I can't see doing a Mexican joint for any less that 350-450 on a maintenance program. Initial cleaning are always going to be higher. Taking over any account.t for the most part means cleaning up someone else's mess, or cleaning shit that the neglecting owner has gotten away with for years. We have a fat ass down here in so cal that does shit like this. His fat ass leaves messes for us and other legitimate cleaners to uncover during routine inspections. I've seen plenty of his jobs and they all suck. His accounts have paid for my n:grin:ew Harley! Thanks fatso.

What is it with you and Mexican joints?
I don't find them to be as difficult as you make them out to be.

Just follow them around and show people what they are not getting. Might be an easy sell.

We have a company my salesman watches for. When he sees them at night, he's at the restaurant the next morning. If they haven't paid for the service yet, we are typically there that night! If they have paid already, the company is back to actually do the job the next night or so. A few times, the restaurant has called my salesman again requesting another inspection...and sometimes they call the hack back again to get it right... third times the charm.
One restaurant was hesitant to take us because our price was 2x the hack. They told my salesman they only paid 250, but the guy had to come back 5 TIMES! Could you imagine going to a kitchen 5 times to get paid $250?!
The hack refused to do it the next time, so they called us...we upped the price again (we didn't want to deal with a cheap owner) and he was just desperate enough to pay it (dangit!)!
