help with blacktop

Not an actual pw question but I got roped into re-sealing a black top drive way. Anyone have any suggestions on what product to use that will also fill cracks, or how to fill the cracks. I would love to not have to use crack filler if I don't have to. Also, don't anyone say home depot because I already tried their stuff and it was junk. Cracked all over the place.

get professional sealer from a paving co.
I sweep in mason sand into the crack's then seal.
P.S. you'll need your own 5 gal pail's. It will come out of a 5000 gal tank or two 2500 TANK'S. aT LEAST IT DOSE HERE IN nj

Mike,
Not sure what Home Depot product you used, but the Henry 532 is a good product. Goes on easy, dries fast for foot traffic and is ready for cars in 24 hours or so.
Not sure of what size cracks you speak of, but this stuff will fill in minor surface ones, and bigger ones can be filled in with cold patch asphalt, and then sealed over.
I did a job last summer and went by the other day to check in. It still looks great, and this is an industrial complex.

Where would I get cold patch asphalt??
Used the Henry 532, didn't do a good job at all. I followed the directions to the "T"

Hire someone who knows what they are doing... that's the easiest and usually the best way to do it.

I wish I could do that justin but I already did it once and the product didn't work correctly so I have to re do it before the 4th.

thanks ron p.

Oh. That kinda sucks... we never quit living and learning. I've been in your shoes before. I don't know anything about it but I wish you luck.
