HD-80 Extreme Solutions

Changes to HD-80, EFC-38 and Citralic Packaging

Reposted from TGS -

Extreme Solutions, Inc. has redesigned the labels used for HD-80, EFC-38 and Citralic Brightener/Neutralizer single use jars. This change will only effect the 2lb size, not the 10lb contractor tubs.

After 10 years of selling almost exclusively to contractors, ESI is making some changes to a few popular products. We have redesigned the labels for HD-80, EFC-38 and Citralic Brightener/Neutralizer.

The newly designed labels will be used on the 2lb (single use) containers. 10lb Contractor Tubs will still come with the lovely (cheap) lab labels we have been using for the last decade. The goal is to bring the cleaners under the Woodrich Brand and give the product more "shelf appeal."

Obviously, there will be no changes to the product formulas. After 10 years and over 30 product releases HD-80 is still our most popular product with Citralic and EFC-38 not far behind! Since the vast majority of contractors order the 10lb tubs, it's likely you may never even see one of the new label designs, so I thought I would share them here.

We do still have some of the 2lb jars with the old label in stock. They are on clearance if you want to snatch them up. If they aren't sold but Feb-1 they will be given away as samples. This offer isn't available at www.Woodrich-Brand.com so please call direct at: 636-288-8512 Russell Cissell

I've had mainly good success with HD-80. However, with Sikkens, I have had mixed results. Sometimes it strips off like a charm, and other times Sikkens will laugh at the HD-80, and not budge. And one other time, Cabot's semi trans gave me a fit. I was able to remove most on the floor, but the railings would not strip.

Is Tony Still around, thats a very old Website.

I remember Beth built that for him

Ditto on the HD-80. It's about the only thing that will remove CWF-UV also. I live real close to Russ and will use his stripper next season. I like the EFC-38 cleaner also. It will take off failed sealer and leave an intact sealer alone. This is beneficial when cleaning solid stained decks. It tells you where the weak spots are.

Wheres REed?

Yes it does, But dang Ron thats an old thread. I now buy the main ingredient in HD80, sodium hydroxide, by the 50 pound bags.
