gutter stains?

Hello!

I need help on some really nasty stains on white gutters that I'm cleaning. The house obviously hasn't been pressure washed in quite some time-it is vinyl sided and the gutters are also white vinyl. The siding cleaned up beautifully, but the gutters are still very dirty looking they only lightened up just barely, but still have dark ugly streaks all over them. Any ideas, chemicals,etc. that will get these gutters clean, or is this the best results I can expect to get based on the years since the house was last cleaned?

Gutters are aluminum.

From your post i assume you have accomplished this house wash.I hope you didnt tell them you will come back and get them clean with different chemical.Dont kill yourself trying to get the gutters clean,there are some chemicals that might get them clean but its not for sure.

I usually spot the problem gutters with trained eye and point them out to costumer,these will lighten up but black streaks wont come out.At the end,both ways ,i have a happy costumer.
When they are badly discolored ,like black underneath,thats just that,beyond help.They Should have worried about them years ago,before they got that bad.

From locally available stuff ,try grease lightening and a brush,if brush dont do it,chemicals wont either.Reason most buy chemicals ,nobody like to brush gutters

first try the seaech button on this site and look up all the posts on gutter cleaning, there are some good ones.
most suggest
castrol super clean [k-mart or NAPA]
gutter zap [ron strickland at xterior]
Steven Rowlett has a gutter cleaning chem.
Delco has dbn1430
im sure most dist. on this bbs sell a gutter cleaner.
i use castrol super clean if my limonlene wont get it all off. lot's of people prefer GUTTER ZAP[for the most part it's touchless]
Johny, if you have not tried these chems.you might want too. When i did use gutter zap it never not got them clean[the very worst i did have to brush, but hardly ever.]

Ron ,not tried zap,i use limonene.No brushing ,%99.But then again i run into some really neglected ones and no go.I believe if i brushed the very worst ones they would clean up,i just dont like to brush.Used to tell them %99 come clean but i dont now,just in case,most times they come clean and everybody is happy.

Provided the gutter is actually aluminum, like most of them...........you would be amazed at what the gutter zap would do for this gutter.
