yup dryvit. another thing you'll see on older homes is gypsum sheathing . Most don't have tar paper. Especially aluminum siding before 1980. The walls usually are fir'd out w 3/4 or 5/4 x 2. doesn't take much to crease it while DS even with low pressure. Basically hollow siding. Hardly ever replaced old siding where the gypsum sheathing didn't have lots of holes or cracks.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. I don't run into much dryvit/eifs in my area with what I clean, but there is tons of non reinforced styrofoam used in cookie cutter neighborhoods around here. Like Joseph said, even low pressure can make an impression on these areas, what a doozy.
