Sprinklers limit fire damage at Chandler restaurant

Police are investigating a fire that ignited inside a popular Polish restaurant in Chandler Monday night.
The blaze began at 10 p.m. in the kitchen of Na Zdrowie, on the southwest corner of Warner and Dobson roads, fire officials said Tuesday.
The restaurant was saved by its sprinkler system, said Chandler Fire Battalion Chief Dan Couch. No one was injured and the restaurant was unoccupied at the time, he said.
The building mainly sustained smoke damage, Couch said.
