Camel Back

I am 50 years old and concerned about the effects of heat on my poor tired body. To guard against the heat and dehydration, I use a "camel back" on the job. It is used by bike riders primarily and fits on your back like a back pack. Fill with water and ice and drink from a hose that attaches to the shoulder strap. No stopping to get a drink or coming down the ladder etc. I hope this is helpful. Cost is about $75. Has pouches and pockets for power bars or whatever.

I have used one off and on for years, before they came with pouches and pockets. They work great, and are a real time saver, not to mention that I am one of those guys that forgets to take a drink if I get too busy. A real hazard in the Arizona summer.

We use them as well and love them. Sure beats dehydration in hot weather.

i have a couple that were issued in the service for our lovely trips to the desert. They are small so it is not like carrying a backpack, and not messy at all. love em

I use mine all the time. You get used to the funny looks wearing it into Walmart. ;) J/K

Hey I got a beer cap... I once used it for gatorade and got laughed at while I was cleaning concrete.. People drove by laughing and blowing the horn.. I usually keep Ice Water in the truck cause I am never more than 200 ft from the truck but the back pack thing sounds COOL>>>>
