I thought Brock was pulverizing that guy, maybe another few minutes and it would have been over but that leg was out there.

Next time I am sure Brock will be more careful.

Goes to show that being heavy handed and big isn't enough in a sport where your arm or leg can be broken easily with little pressure by little guys. Fake wrestlin' isn't going to get it in the octogon. He'll have to go back and work on not getting overly excited and throwing wild un-controlled punches.

I just can't understand why he stood up. Any wrestler knows to take down and cover the opponent. I think he has spent too much time in the "entertainment" industry, and needs to refocus his efforts on the "sport".

I don't get it. First where is the entertainment in the sport, and second, how did the guy that was usually on the bottom getting the crap pounded out of him win?

And how soon until there are a rash of deaths?

Its actuall been proven safer than boxing. One, you cant punch a guy as hard with those gloves, and two you are taking shots that will force you to submit before you get your brain knocked lose. There have been studies on it, probably by UFC doctors. There was a whole article on it in Maxim this month, pretty interesting.

You mean there are words in Maxim?

I believe the report, Scott and artist being a boxer. This is a brauling like Sport and superior.

Boxing is more about the art of boxing, mixed martial entails all.

Boxing guys are just pissed they cannot beat a guy grappling or kicking them. NO CHANCE.

well unless they defend different..

I never liked Don King. Back when Tyson was fighting, Don Kings wife was his financial manager making 100K and Don's daughter was president of Mike's fan club making 50K. Amazing how many pockets Don't hands are in.

Brock is one big dude. I ran into him when I went (of all places) to the Dairy Queen in my hometown of 1600. He was waiting for his order along with his girlfriend(who happened to be VERY attractive, I might add). What he was doing there I have absolutely no idea. I'm not a big guy (5'9") but he made me look like I was a gradeschooler standing next to him. I still sucked in my gut and pushed out my chest just to show him I wasn't a pushover. *yeah RIGHT!) I have to admit it was fun watching him trying to make it with the Minnesota Vikings tho'. It was a preseason game and he was playing Def. End. The play was over after he made a tackle on the running back and some other lineman on the opposing team blindsided him and took a cheap shot at him. Brock got up, picked this 300# lineman up that had just cheapshot him, and bodyslammed him to the ground, then started beating the piss out of his helmet. He would have been a bloody mess if he hadn't been wearing it! IT WAS GREAT!!!
