Best Power Wash Products I have Ordered Recently

Best thing I purchased was a seat at Doug Rucker's Pressure Cleaning School in Houston for two days.
Next to that would be my UAMCC contributing membership.

So you guys don't get streaks on windows using Elemonator? I used it for a year and had major problems with streaks. I would rinse and rinse and when the windows dry there would be streaks and cloudy spots all over the place. Switched to Roof snot and could tell immediately there were no streaks. Maybe Bob changed the formula or something.

Ralph are you measuring out the Elemonator? I was using too much and I was getting streaks too. I saw a tread on PT state where Ken Fenner posted that if you use too much you end up with streaks on the windows. So I started closely measuring out my mixes and it solved the problem for me.

I purchased a set of Accu-pour measuring pitchers from Gemplers and precisely measure out 1oz. of Elemonator per gal. of mix for roofs and when DS'ing and have very few streaks if any on windows. Just keep everything wet!

I started off with 1 oz per gallon of SH mixed and tried all different amounts to get the streaks to go away. The windows looked great when they were wet. If you waited until they dried, then you see the streaks and clouds. It got to the point that I hated doing house washes. I would be at the front door getting paid and I could see through the house to the sliding patio doors and the cloudy streaky mess freaked me out. Then I had an incident where I put the elemonator in my tank as usual and there was no soap suds or any indication that I put soap in my tank whatsoever. Sprayed the mix on the driveway and it made suds for two seconds and completely went away. I thought I had ruined 45 gallons worth of SH. Had to rescue it with Roof snot. Don't know what happened, but since then I stayed away from Elemonator. A five gallon bucket of Roof snot is at my door in two days and it is cheaper, so it's roof snot for me.

Elemnator has other cleaning detergents in it there is 1 that belongs to the metesilicate family that will definatly spot or streak glass if it is left on for to long or is used at to strong so with that being said do only a portion of the house that can be rinsed without drying especially on windows and other glass.Wind an heat can speed up the drying of these products faster than we realize. Its very aggravating to have this happen on windows some of this self cleaning glass will spot haze with just hard water put on it.Just another hurdle we have to conquer in seeking perfection in the house washing world.

Doug I am doing great and staying very busy at the moment with work. I have recommended your school to several others as I wouldn't be where I am now if I had not went. It is worth every penny spent. Some of my local competition can't believe that I am just starting out in this business.

Ralph I haven't tried the roof snot for house washes yet just on roofs, but I plan on trying it. Do you mix it the same for your house washes as you do the roof? I mix 1 ounce of elemonator per gallon of SH DS'd through a 2.3 injector (8GPM machine) with 150 ft of hose and so far I haven't had any problems with streaking and the elemonator masks the SH smell. I agree with you about the price and delivery. I actually ordered three 5 gallon buckets of each here recently so in case one was bad or didn't work I had an alternative. LOL.... I love being prepared for anything.

I don't clean roofs. Roof snot comes in lemon also. Called snotmenade. I use the 2.1 injector for my 10 gpm machine, because I use 200-330 feet of hose. It never fails. I loved Elemonator when I first used it. It's just the streaks and cloudy windows steered me away from it.

Same with me on the Elemonator with streaks. Went from simple cherry to Elemonator and thought it was the bomb.It smells good and cleans great but started to have customers calling back and complaining about there windows. Tweaked my mix and it was still hit and miss. My go to soap is now root snot it seems to be the best that I have tried.

Shane just remember roof snot is not a soap nota no no way is it a soap. Its a surfactant has no cleaning property at all.It does however hold you soap on the surface longer an will allow the other things mixed with it to work longer due to it not just rollling off the surface.

As much as I raved on the elemonator earlier in this post, I find myself like plenty of you guys. I did a house a few weeks back and mixed my SH and Elemonator as I always do in my 5er and got to washing. Once I finished and drained my water tanks and rolled up my hoses, the homeowner called me to the back of the house to show me the streaks that were forming. I know I rinsed them twice, and kept them wet the entire time. Ended up having to hand clean every single window pane on that house with windew and towels before I could get a check. If it were just hard water stains, I don't think it would have been an issue - but clear chemical residue streaks....no doubt it was my problem to fix. Needless to say, I am actively trying new surfactants. I am bouncing around with roofsnot, stick-up, and Ajax liquid laundry detergent.

Use our Rinse Aid water softening chemical or our Quick Dry . Either one will take care of your problems. Spots come from hard water. softening it with The Rise Aid and using the Quick Dry will speed up the drying time creating less chance of spotting. I used Wet Wax to sheet the windows and put a little shine on the siding.
.

Yeah....gotta be careful w F13, will also stain paint and siding on houses if it gets on it. We use Dragon Juice now and is probably the easiest and does best job of any product we've used. No solvents in it so it's not going to dissolve paint
Your the best!

Just curious, does anyone still use the now-defunct ST 905 trigger guns? I used to have several of these great guns, but have usually wore them out using them for applying low pressure detergents. I still have several repair kits for the guns, minus the guns! LOL
