Best High Pressure Hose

Make sure the hose is rated for hot water. I had a friend that couldn't understand why his hose would blow almost immediately. I didn't either until I found out he was using harbor freight air hose.

Scott, you said you "had a friend". So I can only assume he got killed. Here's hoping for his widow that he purchased the HF Chonda extended warranty! At least that way she could get re-hosed. lol

I have found the 1-Wire 4000 PSI Goodyear grey Neptune to be the best 1-wire hose for either hot or cold. We use the Goodyear 2-wire 4500 psi hose for our hot water cleaning. My guys don't like using Goodyear hose for house washing as it's quite heavy (25-26 pounds per 100 foot). We are having a bit of a dilemma on finding a durable lighter weight hose in the 17-22 pound range per 100 foot for house washing.

Look into the USA Brand hose from Bob. I order some because it was on sale and it is noticeably lighter than the Goodyear hose. It does say Not For Steam Cleaning on the hose and I'm not sure the specs on it but, we run hot water through it and its been going strong for about 4 months now. So far so good and it is lighter. Contact Bob for its specs. http://www.pressuretek.com/usabrprwaho.html

Goodyear or Gates smooth cover. Smooth lasts so much longer. I have never had a problem with the other brands though.

Legacy 2 wire, although the stuff I get is not from legacy, its from the same manufacture.

The 1 SN is the legacy 1 wire, 2 sn the 2 wire legacy hose.

I prefer the 2 wire hose, have been using them for 1.5 years now, only thrown out one hose so far from a dozen pin hole leaks. I used to go through a couple neptune hose's in that time frame previous years with less work.

For the price of the 2 wire, I don't know why I would bother with anything else.

Have always had good luck with 1 wire Goodyear Neptune hose from any vendor, I would call Russ at Southside or Paul at the powerwashstore.com.
