Then when he's spend his entire day getting your $59 housewash to your professional standard, sit down and 'splain everything to him!!!!!

Nah I had my company tshirt on which i always wear, magnets on my truck rig in the gardge with the door open. Anyways he showed up, i met him out there i said how much for my driveway i'll even let ya use my equipiment. 'what equipment' (as he reads the sign on my truck) 'oh your a pressure washer too?'. yeah, i thought i'd get ya out here to do this for 29$ i'd gladly pay you that if you wanna do it. 'nah this is like 100$' oh i thought it was 29$. haha, anyways he was an 18yr old, we had a talk i told him i'd even show him how to properly clean and do estimates. i asked how busy he was and what kinda jobs he has done, he did a job around here where he had done their driveway and pooldeck not the green poolcage though cuz he didn't know how, so i told him to have those people call me and gave him my card, I don't know if that'll happen? :cool: he only uses his wand no SC or the right chemicals.

i told him when he does a 29$ job and they call him next time and hes no where to be found and then they call me and tell me a guy did it for 29$ can i do it for that price, and i tell them what it should really be priced at. and how that it screws all the legit companys.

He had a dewalt 3300psi machine and he only uses a wand, not chems or a surface cleaner. He drove up in a nice new dodge ram crew cab with a hemi though, 18yrs old must be nice.

Kevin you should call home boy out. Or find a roof under 3000sqf sell the job for as much as possible, and have him do it for his price and you won't even have to do anywork expect laugh @ that jackass. however if he does a piss poor job which is highly likely it aint worth it.

There a tons and tons of these threads about these stupid lowballin people makin money on the side, underbidding legit companies, and destorying whatever they attempt to work on.

I decided today to confront one them, explain.. even try to help him learn. Point is, wherever you live there will be these guys lowballing, being uninsured & unlicensed.

Brooks I feel sorry for you Tampa has a lot of guys and some lowballers. However I have never seen anything like springhill prices! Talk about low holly isht. My grandfather lives there and gets his roof done every 2-3 years for 125.00 he has a 2500 sq ft house. He wanted to pay me to do it I said keep your guy its not worth my time. He also got a guy to lay Tile in his house for 12 dollars an hour and the guy did an awsome job! for 12 an hour I dont know how this guy can provide for his family
