Apple vs Android vs Windows phone question

I have had an iPhone 4S for 2 years now and am bout to upgrade. Overall happy with it for most part. I am planning on upgrading soon and only things I really don't like about iPhone is that it doesn't have expandable memory (sd card slot) and that everything costs money (mainly music). I have looked at a few android and windows phones lately and am considering trying one. I think Verizon still has the 14 day "trial" period so I can still go back if I change my mind lol

My question is, has any of you guys went to android or windows phones AFTER being on Apple for a while? If so happy? Regret it? Went back to apple?

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

How is your phone holding up? I have 4s too. 16 months old. Up volume doesnt work, ear speaker going bad, and its way slow. I dont like change and Im not sure someone elses phone would last longer so I will probably just get the newest iphone when it is upgrade time but I am disappointed in how its holding up.

I am mean to my phone though, my wife's is in great condition.

I've h Galaxy phones in the past and tried Iphone 4s when it came out. When galaxy 3 came out I gave Iphone to my son. I didn't like that you had to pay for everything. Now I have the Galaxy 4 and not a single complaint. MP3 Skull in the store and you'll get all the free music you need. Paul(owner) has always had the Apple phones and he now has the Galaxy 4 as well. 14 day trial will help you out..

I switched from a Windows phone to an iPhone5S. Wish I had done it years ago.

Vibrate and one speaker haven't worked for 7-8 months on my 4s. And it dies if I am out in the cold for long even in my pocket.

When I got this phone I was on the 14 day trial on a Samsung galaxy nexus when it first came out. I liked it but battery was pathetic and its cellular reception was very bad. It would also drop calls a lot. I see good reviews on the Galaxy 4 so maybe they have that stuff fixed. I think the nexus was a dud.

Only reason I have considered the windows phone is because I bought my son a new laptop for Christmas and kinda liked how it worked (windows 8) but at same time I haven't used it a lot either and might not like it after I did.

Thanks again

I like my I phone 5 started with the 3S and have always kept it in a good case it's very important to have a good case if you are rough with them.

When I start having bad battery life I tend to upgrade but I am a electronic geek so if it has a function I want then I'll upgrade also.

I have iPhone5 and a galaxy 4s. I prefer the iPhone because I do everything w one hand. Also I find the keyboard much easier to use. Seems I can accomplish way more in fewer key strokes too.

I have had all three and the iphone is far better. Can't remember the Windows phone, but the android was a Droid Bionic. It was a battery hog. I have had my current iphone about 14 months and have no problems. I would recommend a otter box defender series case, I am hard on a phone and if I take my phone out of the case it still looks brand new.

I am happy with iPhone I currently have 4s happy with it with the exception on the battery life. I go not like the windows phone at all cannot say anything about any androids because I have never owned any. I like apple :)

I have a 4S and love it. Was having trouble with battery life when my son told me turn off apps that aren't is use (e.g. Safari, Google Maps, weather, etc). Makes a HUGE difference!
