Amazing what blown debris does to coils

Tony Shelton

Here is a bid I did this morning. Notice there is virtually no coil damage in the first pic. Look at the extensive damage on the next two pics.

They are on the same roof.

What's the difference?

Undamaged are facing south, Damaged ones are facing North. Go figure.

(Plus, Just had the put in a pic of the lift. These are 2 1/2 story buildings (xtra tall first floor, normal second floor).

hey tony, you should make some kind of guard that lets air pass through. yet blocks debris from damageing the coils. bet you could make a mint.

They alread have those. I guess the mfg's don't want to spend the money on it.

The big thing now is to make a locking cage around it to keep copper thieves from getting the copper.

I have seen some pictures where the theives did not check to see if the wires were live.......they found out the hard way.

They had other stolen copper with them when they were found the next day.

These are on top of one of my accounts. This was at the peak of copper prices. They estimate the thieves got $400-500 for these coils. Insurance paid $60,000 to replace them.

Out of sight out of mind.

I'm hoping to change that using videos and pictures.

This is what we are doing right now. Rooftops full of these.

oops...can't embed youtube anymore. I'm using internet explorer and neither the old embed codes nor the new ones work
