I am pretty sure I will be there. I'm doing some other RT's before this one and the wifey might be getting a little tired of me traveling to RT's and other biz stuff, but I figure I will bribe her with the trip to GA for her and the kids too

Nicole, what is there to do in there for wife and two kids 2 & 6

OOPS maybe not going its my sons birthday 4/18. Ohhhhhh we got to find something real good for them to do. I might only be able to make the RT one day and do something the other day
 
Hey Jeff. There is a Six Flags Over Georgia nearby. They should be open by then. Atlanta also has several museums, World of Coke, Hard Rock Cafe, CNN Center does tours through there too. There may be things going on at the World Congress Center or maybe some sports stuff at The Dome or Turner Field.

Hey Doug thanks. I will be checking out the Six Flags to see if they are open. How far is that from the RT? Do you know. Thanks

Doug or Nicole, do you know if theres any real nice hotels near the RT. Something with a great indoor pool or for families? I have to come up with something good for my sons birthday in GA

http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=1241 (Discover Mills Mall) 4.9 mi – about 9 mins (Good shopping, has pottery making place, indoor putt-putt golf, jumpy place and weekend shows.)

http://www.medievaltimes.com/findcastles/atlanta/ 4.9 mi – about 9 mins (Located at Discover Mills. LOVE THIS PLACE!)

http://www.yellowrivergameranch.com/ 11.8 mi – about 25 mins (My fav as a kid)

http://www.stonemountainpark.com/ 23.9 mi – about 31 mins (Laser show, petting zoo, train rides, confederate history)

All the distances are from the Hyatt Place Hotel where the meeting is held.

These are all "Metro Atlanta" attractions. They range between 10 mins to an hour from the hotel. All depends on what you are wanting to do.

A nicer hotel that is close to the meeting is the Marriott. Should only be about 1 or 2 miles from the meeting. http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/atlgp-atlanta-marriott-gwinnett-place/ . Has indoor pool and all that jazz.

Nicole thank you sooooo much. My wife just got back from VA and as I said my sons B Day is the 18th and we have a wedding to go to on the 18th also arggg (YAAAA She just told me) So that weekend is a no go. I am bummed out. It looks like a really good event, I really wanted to hear all the sales and marketing stuff
