Advise Wanted - 2 story Stone House

I got a 2 story stone home to clean next week and was wondering how some of you would clean this. I was thinking about x-jetting a strong mix of straight 10% and simple cherry with my 3.5 gpm machine. Is there such thing as too strong of a mix for houses? I want to let the chemical do most of the cleaning and use the least amount of pressure as possible. It is a BIG house and pretty nasty all over. I do have heat if needed.

What is the fastest way to clean this one?

Here are a few quick pics i took:

We clean those with our dual roof pump and use a mix just under a roof mix. They clean up like new. When cleaning these like this we use 2gpm tips. It doesn't take a lot of mix but it does need dwell time. Make sure when you spray a corner like that one pic, that you stand so that you spray back towards the house. In other words, don't spray so that your mix hits the corner, and bounces off into the tree or the grass, plants below. Water the plants good before, and then again after you rinse. Also make sure you spray from the bottom towards the top. Call me if you want to discuss further.

Thanks for your advice Doug, it's on point as always! So I take from the post that there is really not much harm I can do x-jetting a strong mix on there and see how good it does and repeat if needed. I Should have a roof setup in the next few weeks as another friend on the board showed me a kit for under $500 at Pressure Tek that included everything minus the battery. I will definitely save your number for future questions Doug, thanks again for helping us rookies, it really does help a lot.

This is a great little set up, I have one too and use it for a lot of spot cleaning work, fertilizer rust stains, demos, etc. It would be a great little start up unit for you. I personally wouldn't xjet that stone but that's just me.

That's a nice little set-up, I will look into it. It might actually be good for staining fences and decks if I add some more hose to it but not sure. I'm doing some research on roof cleaning down here in san antonio to see how it does in this market. How is it in Houston? You get a lot of roof cleaning work?

Also, why wouldn't you use the x-jet? At this time it is the only way to get the love on there strong enough to work well. My only other option would be down-streaming?

+1,000,000... Ours has paid for itself at least 10 times over for applying rust removal chemicals, degreaser, chemical transfer, spot cleaning - need to get one mounted to a cart now to make moving the chemical bucket more straightforward.

Yeah roof cleaning does okay here. Not gangbusters by any means. Have tried the x jet on that before and it just took awhile and doesn't clean as well as a dedicated pump. I always had to clean using an adjustable wand under low pressure after x jetting.

That's a nice little hand carry, is that a full sized battery underneath?

Hey JR, $89 of the price of the set-up I told you about was for the wagon that I mounted the pump, battery and tank to and I can also wind up the hose and squeeze it in at the back of the wagon behind the tank. That hand carry model looks great and the price is right but if I can wheel something around instead of carry it, I'm going to.

Oh ok, as soon as I get my pump set-up in I will try it out on the stone homes. What about real dirty brick? X-jet?
